WORSHIP

Worship is vital to the life and work of God's people. Music and worship play an integral role in helping our church accomplish her mission. From Children's Choirs, to our two dynamic youth choirs and orchestra programs, to our adults in the Sanctuary Choir and Sanctuary Orchestra, we are committed to teaching one another to love and worship God.

God is looking for people whose minds and hearts are bent toward Him. It's critical for His worshipers to understand that. Too often, some people have trouble worshiping because they're afraid of what someone else is going to think. We have to keep a mind that real worship means that we're focused on Jesus.

God is not just seeking worship; He’s seeking worshipers. And if we're not in tune with what worship really is, Satan can completely distort it. He can distort it through the traditions, words, persuasions and pleadings of men. He uses the perpetuated fads and the allure of popularity to distort true worship.

When people are focused on things rather than the Lord Jesus Christ, it is our responsibility to teach them what it means to truly worship the Lord. The devil is working overtime in getting our people to misplace their worship. When people worship in spirit, they are worshiping in sincerity and from the heart. To worship in truth means people are willing to confront, confess and abandon their sins.

But worship shouldn't be limited to worship on Sundays. Worship can happen through any area and ministry of the church.
