MUSIC MINISTRY
WHBC’s
Music Ministry invites you to exercise your talents and gifts in reaching
others for Jesus. Children
through adults have the opportunity to lift their voices in song through
their participation in choirs and ensembles.
Graded Choirs
Children, Preschool through 4th grade, have fun while learning more about
music and how it can be used for God’s glory through Graded Choirs.
The curriculum includes music, lessons in theory, games,
activities, hymn and instrument studies as well as biblical studies. Our two older Graded Choirs sing a number of times throughout
the school year with two main presentations at Christmas and in the
Spring. Graded Choirs meet on
Wednesday at 6:00pm following our family fellowship meal.

Instrumental Music
In the
Psalms, we are admonished to praise the Lord with “the sounding of the
trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourine and
dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of
cymbals…” (Psalm 150:3-5). There are a number of ways to use your gifts and talents
instrumentally to praise the Lord.
